A long time ago, I came across an old enlarger
and immediately felt the urge to learn how to use it.
My research is mainly based on my personal experience of individual and collective memories. It explores the connections between (self-)performance, the places and the materiality of image. I like to deepen the relationships between texts and pictures, between movement and still images, between photography and history. I look for memories in places, and for life in objects, blurring the boundaries between categories.
I like to build cameras and handle papers and brushes in the darkroom, I like to draw coastlines with the developer chemical and to cut and paste analogue prints to create new meanings.
Photography is my greatest passion. Along with lots of other things.
